Interesting

Definitely not a sound I have heard before; this is a good thing. I'm loving the string pads every now and then. This would fit perfectly with some kind of dream sequence. Needless to say, i like this alot. I finished Invention, so if you would like to hear it, hit me up with an email---shaner1989@comcast.net It sounds much better.

I'm not sure i would characterize this one as trance...maybe industrial? or ambient?

Peace Z3ta

I know that it;s not really Trance maybe IDM. Thanks for the opinion I will see about checking out your stuff if my bud hasn't yet.

Very nice.

Thanks for the review....but you reviewed an old song of mine, i have improved a bit. Please head on back there and check out my newest. (Thermal Decision) and maybe entropycal.

This is a very interesting piece. I love the beginning. The harmonizing melody was fantastic. But then the melody disappears, and i was left with the same two notes over and over. lol. You could definitely add more to that. Your clap synth sounds a bit lame, like all FL claps do. I suggest going and importing a wav clap from the net into your song, it would help alot. Guitar synth??? Hmmm....I think a better lead could be used, but it was very different, which is often times good. Work on a little more variety/diversity in your lead synth throughout. And MORE MELODY! Good work, and don't forget to check out my stuff that is actually ANY good.

DjLightning responds:

Well, for my remarks about the song: Is it says in the song, its still incomplete (embarrasingly enough for me, ive been grounded from making music, and i cant work on it till then)...lol..But, besides the fact, i should be able to afford a synth soon, and im gonna start makin better stuff. Your stuff seemed a little repetitive: if ur gonna have a repetitive song, u want a beat going. also, they need to go somewhere. My friend and i did this remix of Shivers by armin van buuren, but the only reason we could do a good job was because of the samples that we could work with.

Like ur stuff, wanna know if:
#1: Wut program do you use
#2: r u still 16; if ur 17, then we share much in common ;)
#3: would u be interested in maybe partnering up

-i dont have a leble yet, but expect one soon...
Sincerely,

Well....

Okay, well.....this is a remix? This lacks ALOT of things. This entire project is the same throughout. The same lead, over and over and over. No diversity whatsoever. The melody is cool, but it isn't your's, if this is a remix? Add a beat, add another lead, add some effects, add something.

GO HOME AND DIE! ...(well any ways I here by ban you from using my music in any way(ya lil music geek(by the way this song was only made for my friends so any one reading this will know) soooo 8P

This is nice.

I very much enjoy this song, and I wanted to say thanks for all of your reviews on my site. This is a very repetitive and lengthy techno song. But you were able to add many different "licks," if you will, throughout the song. It kept me wondering what would happen next. The bongos sound nice; that is very original, based on the fact that i would never have thought of using them. Thanks again for the reviews, but you did miss one. Go check "The death of capone" which happens to be my favorite. Thanks again.

Xyanide responds:

Thnx for the review! well yeah it took a lot of tinkering and time before it came to this though. First the bongos started out as just a background sound but after like a month of working every now and then on it i deceided they could very well be the main theme :P

Beautiful

Thanks for the review man. I too, am a metal head. I just have no recording software on my computer. I have a Jackson RR3, along with a few other guitars. These are some sweet riffs you got here man. Wish you were around me. Would definitely scope you out for my band. Great job.

FlameMesial responds:

That would be good! I'm already in a band though, and I've got a gig today too. Cheers!!

Interesting.

The bass line in the beginning was very nice, but when the guitar comes in.....it becomes pretty bad. I can tell you use Fruity Loops, and that you are fairly new to it. Steer clear of the Slayer Plugin, it is not very good. The ending riff is very cool as well. Although i would doubt that it is originally your's, due to your history of stealing other people's loops. (The trance of the beat) Keep working at it man. Try not to repeat so much.

the-postal-dude responds:

Okay, here is the story. I gave my cousin the password to my NG account so he can put music on the site.
He's like 14 so he's stupid. And I also gave him a copy of FL studio.
And he's pretty good for copying and pasting.

Beautiful

Completely opposite of your usual line of work. But my God, it is wonderful. So clear, so musical. The plug-ins are great, i will have to stea......i mean....buy them. Keep up this great work man.

Shadow143 responds:

LOL I used Fruityloops and for plugins I used Stylus for the drums and cameleon 5000 for all the instraments thats all i used ^^. I will have to use these 2 together mor often becouse of the clearness im getting. Maby i can try and get cameleon 5000 working on your pc. I cant give you Stylus becouse its large size (5 Installation disks)

great stuff.

Harsh review man. But thanks. Not sure it deserved a 3 in diversity or 4 in creativity though. Quite a repeatitive rhythm and bass line you have here. But all the same, it is a good track. This was my first try at a rave type thing, so better should come later on. You use FL right? If so, do you have any ideas for an "instrument" that i could add to complement the melody?

oddkun responds:

sorry i don't use FL. i use magix music maker and ejay, sorry. but i think you nedd an instrument with more of an airy feel to it. sorry if the review came out harsh, i'm known for being critical of things i like, so the more mean i am the more i like it! i know, i'm crazy! *_*

Great stuff.

Strong bass beat. Great drums lines. This one doesn't need to be remixed. lol. Maybe extend it a bit, and introduce a few melodies. Great, great job. Thanks for helping me out with Fl.

Shadow143 responds:

Your very welcome. Im always glad to help out anyone wanting to use FlStudios

Cool Stuff

Very nice. Nicely done with the ambient background and prominent melody. There is a part or two where the background and the bass line clash....but that is only slightly noticeable. Great job overall.

grahf677 responds:

thx dude for the insight... and the 10 u rock!!
